The place is always very quiet the restaurant food is very good
I hadn't visited The Hub in many many years when I visited in January 2019. When parking charges were introduced some years ago, East Kilbride dropped off my shopping centre list. However, I had to drop a family member at the ice rink. If you are there for 9 minutes or less (and don't leave your car) there is no parking fee. If you do need to pay, watch out - not all machines take card payments. The shopping centre interior has been redesigned around the ice rink and now has a collection of about 4 food outlets - each with their own restaurant and each designed with an 'outside' area. Much better idea and more pleasant that the standard shopping centre food court.
Good range is restaurants but parking charges are so rediculous. Can go to Silverburn or Braehead and not have to pay so not sure why EK Shopping Centre thinks it's acceptable to charge.
Quite a poor selection of eating places, would rather go to the village for something nice.
Lots of restaurants to choose from. There hosts a cinema, ice rink and library. There is also an excellent soft play and hi ride adventure for kids of all ages. There are 3 car parks close by also. The soft play includes food and drink, and is a great soft play for visibility as it's not too big.
