I had a wonderful overnight stay at the hotel last Friday, with a little guest too (a kitten) we were visiting a local cat show on the Saturday. The hotel was very accommodating, the room was of a large size, and nicely appointed and the bathroom was excellent too! Had a fantastic meal on the Friday night and the attached restaurant.. Would happily visit again... Superb polite staff too... Well done holiday Inn!
Visited for Christmas Day dinner in the Ailsa Suite (14:30 sitting). Food was fabulous and thoroughly enjoyed by all. I had the veggie option which was brilliant and great to have something a bit different than the usual veggie options. The rest of the table enjoyed their turkey. Small niggle with the desserts taking 50 minutes to come out after taking away our mail plates, but the manager did explain why and offered us all a drink as an apology. I appreciate it must be extremely fast paced and busy on Xmas Day so I was understanding. Staff all great and super friendly.

fantastic! had our wedding here on 10.11.18, and cannot praise the staff highly enough. nothing was too much trouble. fabulously priced wedding package, and if we had paid ten times the amount it cost, we couldn't have had a better wedding. A big shout out for Carla and Claire, they were exceptional. it was mainly because of their help and ideas that we had the most fantastic day. a big thanks to all the staff who were working that day and night
Good sized room, well equipped. Very comfy bed. Saturday breakfast rather tired, no one explained anything, no top-ups or offers of items cooked to order, but extensive menu. Sunday breakfast was much better, everything explained, coffee topped up, friendly.Reception staff very welcoming, advised about trains, ordered taxi.Swimming pool very relaxing.
