Nice place, nice clean rooms, good service, attentive staff, good IT support for electronic displays and presentations - videos/PowerPoint village suite perfect size and self-contained. Only 4 stars because we booked a family room as part of an event and it was extortionate but rather small. And then the room was advertised at 50 cheaper the same day we had paid in full so hotel couldn't refund the difference - although to be fair, they gave us a 50 bar credit which was very much appreciated. April, the events manager was great in organising everything and Chris, the maitre'd was very competent on the evening keeping everything on track.
Dropped in for lunch in the bar. Really nice overall staff were attentive and the decor was nice. Sat by an open fire which was nice on a cold day. Had soup and sandwich, it is pretty standard pub grub, but we'll done. Cost was average for the type
Stayed here for 4 nights. The first night we were here we had dinner at the restaurant. The food was amazing. I had the best cheeseburger here and the crepes was good as well. We had bed and breakfast so the breakfast is included with the room. It was good. The only set back was the room we checked into was quite dusty. Not sure what was going on, but the next day we had housekeeping cleaning service and the room turned from dusty and disappointing to smelling nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay for the rest of the 3 days
Absolutely amazing stay. A little get away for me and my husband before the madness of Christmas begins. Cosy room. We took room and evening meal option. Food was beautiful staff were welcoming. Definitely stay here again.
Fantastic tribute night on Saturday 24th December. Great food, great service. The group hot love were fabulous and had everybody dancing within minutes. Great night out. Had a wee surprise Xmas gift of a gin masterclass tasting night on Friday 1st December. Again an amazing night. Looked after by Quin who made up our gin drinks and served our food all night. The 3 course meal was beautiful , the service 1st class and the gin was the best. I hope I get more wee surprises like this.
