Visited here for a spa day. Massage was great and we also had full use of gym and the pool. There is an outdoor pool but it wasn't open while we were there which was quite disappointing. Otherwise, really good day and very easy to find.
Had a great overnight stay and found the reception staff very welcoming and really friendly. We chose this hotel because it was dog friendly and on our way to Scotland. The pool was lovely and enjoyed by our son.As we had the dog we could only eat in the bar which had a very limited menu - when we asked if we could order from the a la carte menu, we were told by the barman that it was only available to guests on dinner bed and breakfast deals, which seemed odd. However the food we had was nice although we would have preferred a bigger choice. The breakfast was also very nice, with a good choice of hot and cold food.The only negatives, which are small points, were that the hotel looks a little dated, there was a hole in our duvet cover and that the lamps in the room were dusty. Having said that we would definitely stay again.

Excellent ... great leisure facilities,super restaurant and bar areas. So comfortable just a super place to relax. Pool and gym are excellent. Room very comfortable.
Lovely country house hotel. Public areas and rooms were clean and comfortable if a bit tired. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was good but over priced. Made good use of the spa facilities which could also to with a tidy up. Treatment room and relaxation area were fab as were the staff.Would defiantly go back but take a taxi into the village for food and drinks
